The Background Flow Mixes by Todd "Big La" Kelley

I've been knowing this gifted DJ/Producer/Podcaster since '06 and Todd Kelley where many hats in the world of music/graphic design. As I was creating this new page for my blog I was happy to see that he has created a stand alone page on his Flowink.com site with just his instrumental mixes, The Background Flow. He has just dropped "The Background Flow 16" and I'm downloading all 16 mixes as we speak.


What I dig about Big La mixes is how laid back they are and sometimes when I write blog post I listen to his tracks in the background. I am blessed to use a couple of his tracks on my podcasts when I do my voice overs. I also say with DJs that know how to make a track flow from one tune to another is that fact that they have what's called the "Golden Ear". Todd may be modest of his gift but I don't think I could do what he does and I'm thankful that he shares his gift with the masses. By me being a podcaster to put together a 1 hour show takes twice that long because you want make sure the playlist flows so I can't imagine how long it takes Todd sometimes to put a mix together making sure the tracks "bleed" from one to another while keeping that relaxing flow going from beginning to end.
